Simply Kings of Great Tradition……. GT´s

Turboprops have always occupied a unique niche in the Corporate Aviation market and the King Airs have come to be recognized, in our territory as well as is the rest of the world, as the best in turboprops.  From the “smallest” of the kings, the King Air C90, to the monarch King Air 350, all the King Airs are the standard by which other aircrafts in its category are measured.  In May 2007 Hawker Beechcraft Corporation announced the new development of the 90 and 200 series the Beechcraft® King Air C90GTi and Beechcraft® King Air B200GT.

The Beechcraft® King Air C90GTi features the Collins Pro-line 21 avionics, the same equipment used for the King Air B200GT to the Hawker® 900XP.  This upgrade creates de lowest priced, twin-turbine aircraft with mid-size jet avionics.

Its advanced capacities includes three large-format liquid crystal displays, as well as digital radio and audio systems, multi sensor flight management system, weather radar and IFIS among others. The Pro Line 21 analyzes and displays a flight critical information and aircraft system that reduces the pilot workload.

Of proved built design the Beechcraft® King Air C90GTi allows to seat in a roomy and comfortable cabin 7 passengers.  Equipped with PT6A-135 engines of 750 shp flat rated at 550, this aircraft is highly efficient in full consumption.

Furthermore, Hakwer Beechcraft Corporation chose the month of May to announce the new Beechcraft® King Air B200GT an evolution of the popular King Air B200 with PT6A-52 engines especially design by Pratt & Whitney for this aircraft

The PT6A-52 engine was derived by mating the turbine section of the 1,050-shp PT6A-60A found on the King Air 350 with the existing King Air B200 gearbox. The result is an engine that holds its 850-shp flat rating to a higher altitude, improving climb and cruise performance. Because it is part of the PT6A lineage we also find the same 3,600 TBO (Time before overhaul) as the other King Airs. The new engine also eliminates the 10,000 foot TOFA (Takeoff Field Altitude) limitation found on the B200.

As the Venezuela, Colombia, Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Trinidad & Tobago and Netherlands Antilles exclusive representative for Hawker Beechcraft Corporation, we are very excited with the new improvements which are the redefinition of these aircrafts with proved record in our territories.

Despite that we now can see some new King Air C90GT in our territories, there are many of these older airplanes still flying with its original avionics; heavy radios with limited capacity and few are equipped with the modern electronic equipment available in the market

“If you are going to upgrade a King Air C90, it makes good sense to change the avionics package of your aircraft” expressed Gladys Egui Maintenance Sales Manager for Aviaservice.  The fact is that Aviaservice is performing the first installation in Latin America of the most sophisticated and of latest generation system Alliant Integrated Flight Deck and Digitalis Autopilot Retrofit Program.

Avidyne Envision Integrated Flight Deck provides at a very low cost, the situational knowledge, the safety, the certainty and the redundancy for your King Air 90 or any other of the series 200, 300. The system incorporates a pair of screens of 10.4 inches Avidyne EX5000; an EX500 Multifuntion Display; the new automatic pilot of STec 210 and two standby instruments made by Mid-Continent.
